Each year in early February we welcome our benefactors, parents, alumni, and friends from the east side of the state to join us for our annual Founder’s Dinner in which we honor our founding pastor, Father James Kuhns. The festive evening features a wine and hors d’oeuvre hour with wonderful items up for silent auction, followed by a gourmet dinner and dessert auction. Our students do the set-up, serving, and clean-up, and some even help in the kitchen!
The Founder’s Dinner has become one of our primary fund-raising events of the year. The proceeds help us pay our bills in general and in particular support our Newman Internship program.
In 2016, the event will be held again in Spokane. Our sister parish there, St. Thomas More, will welcome us to their lovely parish social hall, located on Spokane’s north side: 505 W. St. Thomas More Way. The dinner will be held on the 20th of February – all are welcome! Please call our office with any questions or to RSVP.
