Campus Ministry Campaign

The abundant faith and the radical transformation in the lives of our students is the reason why we need to launch our new Campus Ministry Campaign so that we can continue to be a light on the hill that fosters an atmosphere of healing, purpose, and hope through Jesus Christ to WSU students. The theme of our campaign is “I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly” (Jn 10:10).

Your support for this campaign is vital for the success of our mission. Your one-time or monthly gift will enable us to reach our goal of raising $150,000 for the upcoming school year. This would help us significantly to cover the cost of operations and fund all our campus ministry events and activities.

Here’s how some of the lives of our students have been impacted by the mission of Saint Thomas More.

What impact has Saint Thomas More made on your life in college?

Marc: For me it’s given me a big sense of community, coming to college the only thing everyone talks about is Greek life and the parties and that’s what I started with, but it wasn’t fulfilling. I didn’t connect with people on the level imagined I would, but when I came to the Center it was awesome to meet people who shared the same values and cared about me as a person, and who challenged me to grow. We’ve made so many great memories throughout my time here.

What impact has Saint Thomas More made on your life in college and where would you be today if you were not a part of Saint Thomas?

Natalie: Saint Thomas has given me a family and a home away from home. The friends I’ve made here as well as guidance from Fr Paul and the staff have helped me to grow in my faith and give me a good sense of direction and deepen my path with the Lord. I think I would be sad! I would probably still be in Greek life and with that same group of friends that I started college with, but I would be in a much worse place in my life and a relationship with the Lord. I wouldn’t have grown in my faith and had so many encounters with the Lord that I had in college. I would probably be so lonely.

How has the mission of Saint Thomas More helped you to be a bringer of abundant life to others?

Lucas: The mission of Saint Thomas More is not just centered gospel of Jesus Christ but on what that means for us (me) and giving back what we have received and being shared of the gospel allows me to be on a mission for the rest of my life. Our mission is structured around healing and restoration through the gospel message. I’ve decided to become a missionary because I have been impacted so much by the spiritual healing that I have received. It’s more than just that Christ died for my sins but its about what that means for me and how it has changed my life. That encounter and impact have inspired me to become a missionary because I want to give away what I have been given by the Lord here through this ministry.
